Responsibilities:

Execute daily audit engagements including but not limited to managing budgets, planning, fieldwork, and completing financial statements.

Knowledge of GAAP, cash, tax, or other specialized accounting frameworks; unique or specialized accounting principles; and financial statement formatting.

Communicate effectively with audit managers on issues, progress, timelines, etc.

Identify and recommend solutions to arising risks.

Foster and fortify relationships with clients.

Collaborate with the audit team and principals on various projects.

Other tasks as assigned

Compensation will depend upon factors, including experience, education, and professional credentials.
The ideal candidate will have:
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with an active CPA license.

5+ years of audit experience in public accounting (municipality, nonprofit, or employee benefit plan experience a plus but not required)
-
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
-
Strong organizational skills
-
Ability and availability for limited travel
-
Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
