Jim joined Bauman Associates and thus the public accounting industry in 1995 after several years in the private sector working with area businesses. He focuses his efforts on developing understandable IT solutions and more efficient processes including financial statement preparation, payroll issues, accounting matters and accounting software consulting.
He also provides advisory services, on-site training and technical support for clients to help ensure their comfort and satisfaction with the accounting systems he helps them implement. His combined knowledge of general practice accounting and experience with small business operations allows him to teach and guide clients simply and understandably.
On behalf of the firm, Jim has taught various accounting software applications including QuickBooks, Peachtree and others through the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire Small Business Development Center.
Jim’s commitment to putting people first is apparent in the care he gives his clients, coworkers, community and family. Jim currently sits on the Audit Committee of Royal Credit Union. He has been actively involved in the community and sat on several boards including the Kiwanis Club and the Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild. Jim believes his career at Bauman has helped reinforce his community commitment because the leadership strongly supports his involvement.
