Daniel Carlson is a principal at Bauman Associates who works with a variety of organizations including utilities, cooperatives, school districts, municipalities and health care entities. He helps his clients stay within the regulations that govern their particular industries, with an exceptional understanding of internal control systems and their impact on the bottom line.
The kind of guy who can get along with just about everyone, Dan likes to meet new people and is thankful he can use his skills to help them with their financial services. He has always possessed patience and a knack for both puzzles and working with people, so he enjoys the challenges involved with “putting the pieces together” for his clients. Dan makes a point of regularly meeting with them to stay current on any and all issues they are encountering and provides a holistic business view to help them beyond just auditing services.
A Chippewa Falls native, Dan currently lives in Fall Creek with his wife and two daughters. He is active in community and civic activities, including Leadership Eau Claire, Eau Claire Regional Arts Council and other organizations focused on the area’s community development and aspiring professionals. In his leisure time, he enjoys both watching and participating in sports (he wanted to be a sports radio announcer as a child) and reading Dean Koontz novels.

In addition to his degree in Accounting, Dan also has a Kinesiology-Exercise Science degree, so in the event a client is stressing too much, he can assist them in stretching out those tense muscles.
